Although technically the MacBook Pro Core i7 3.5 13-Inch (Mid-2017 Retina Display, Touch Bar, Four Thunderbolt 3 Ports) is a “configure-to-order” configuration of the MacBook Pro “Core i5 3.1 13-Inch (Mid-2017 Retina Display, Touch Bar, Four Thunderbolt 3 Ports), it is also documented as a separate model for the benefit of the reader. These two types are identical besides processor.

Speedy Processor

A 14 nm, 7th Generation “Kaby Lake” 3.5 GHz Intel “Core i7” processor (7567U), with dual independent processor “cores” on a single silicon chip, 64 MB of on-die eDRAM, and a 4 MB shared level 3 cache, powers the MacBook Pro “Core i7” 3.5 13-Inch (Mid-2017 Retina Display, Touch Bar, Four Thunderbolt 3 Ports). Additionally, this laptop has an integrated Intel Iris Plus Graphics 650 graphics processor that shares memory with the system, 8 GB of onboard 2133 MHz LPDDR3 SDRAM (which could be upgraded to 16 GB at the time of purchase but cannot be upgraded later), and 256 GB or 512 GB of flash storage.

Touch ID
